On the afternoon of October 28, Lee Seung-don, Administrator of the Rural Development Administration, visited the seed production complex for the new high-protein soybean variety ‘Daedan’ and the construction site of the ‘Soybean Self-reliant Convergence Complex’ in Gimje, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, to encourage officials and listen to their opinions. The Soybean Self-reliant Convergence Complex project, which will be implemented until 2027, aims to establish a virtuous cycle at the regional level leading from ‘production to processing to commercialization’ by systematically connecting stages such as stable raw grain production, comprehensive post-harvest processing, processed product development, and distribution.
