The National Institute of Food Science and Technology under the Rural Development Administration (Administrator Lee Seung-don) held the ‘2026 Korean Nutrition Society Autumn International Conference’ jointly with the Korean Nutrition Society* on October 23 at the Dragon City Convention Tower in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. * The Korean Nutrition Society: Founded in 1967, an academic organization authorized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (approximately 730 members), responsible for the establishment and revision of the ‘Korean Reference Intakes.’ The Rural Development Administration produces data by analyzing the components of domestic agricultural products to reflect food consumption trends tailored to individual life cycles and health characteristics, and secures scientific evidence for nutritional assessments and the development of dietary guidelines through close cooperation with the nutrition academic community.
