The Rural Development Administration (Director Lee Seung-don) introduced unique beekeeping product recipes and cooking methods using domestic chestnut honey and drone pupae ahead of Chuseok. According to research by the Rural Development Administration, chestnut honey, characterized by its bitter-sweet taste and aroma, was found to inhibit influenza A virus infection by 62.2%. Drone pupae have been confirmed to help supplement nutrition and maintain muscle health for elderly people. The beekeeping product dishes introduced by the Rural Development Administration this year are award-winning entries from the 5th Beekeeping Recipe Competition held last year, namely "Autumn Chestnut Honey Mont Blanc Soufflé" made with chestnut honey and "Honey Pupae Steak Set" made with drone pupae.
