[Korea Agricultural Policy News Reporter Kwon Soon-chang] The Labor Union of the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Institute (Chairman Yeo Dong-soo) has launched the ‘Standing Labor-Management Partnership Council (tentative name)’ together with management, the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Institute (President Lee Seok-hyung, KRIPI). This is a standing, working-level body where labor and management join hands to resolve various agendas, such as the rationalization of service systems and the establishment of a fair organizational culture. The council consists of 12 members in total (six from each side), with Chairman Yeo Dong-soo representing the union and Vice President Hong Young-ho representing management as representative members. The union members were selected to represent voices from the field and diverse job categories, ranging from general staff to public service employees, and the plan is to create a structure that actively reflects minority opinions in the future.
