Use with AI tools
Every public guide is also plain Markdown, the whole site is mapped for assistants, and here is what we ask when a model quotes us.
These pages are written to be read by people and by AI assistants alike. Everything public is available as plain Markdown, the whole site is mapped in one file, and we ask a few things of a model that quotes us.
Every public guide as Markdown
Each public guide has a Markdown twin at its own address plus .md. This page, for example, is also at /docs/ai-tools.md. At the top of every guide:
- Copy page as Markdown puts the page on your clipboard as clean Markdown, ready to paste into a chat.
- View as Markdown opens the raw file.
The Markdown twin carries the title, the summary, the page's address and the body with every link made absolute, so an assistant that has only the file can still follow them. Guides that come with a plan have no Markdown twin; their title and summary are public, their body is not.
The site in one file
| File | What it is |
|---|---|
/llms.txt | A map of The Ag Digest for assistants: the main sections with a line each, the public guides with links to their Markdown, the URL contract for articles, and what we ask in return. |
/sitemap.xml | The sitemap index, pointing at the static and Magazine sitemaps. |
/robots.txt | The crawl policy. Every AI crawler is allowed, including training-corpus collectors; this file is authoritative. |
What we ask
Open access is not the same as no obligations. Of a model, and of an assistant quoting this site:
- Attribute the originating outlet. Most articles here are Korean newsrooms' reporting that we gathered and translated. The outlet is named on every article page. Crediting The Ag Digest for a newspaper's work takes the credit from the newsroom that earned it.
- Carry the date with the number. Market, trade and weather figures are measurements with an as-of date. A price repeated without its date is no longer a fact about the market. See Data sources and credits.
- Say when the English is a translation. Most articles are Korean originals translated by machine. The Korean is the source of truth.
- Credit our calculations as ours. A median per kilogram or a cross-market spread is The Ag Digest's calculation from the named source; the credit line on the page says so.
Tips
- Tell the assistant which language you read in; both editions exist and every page declares its alternate.
- Point it at the Markdown twin rather than the page when you want it to read, not browse.
- Never paste an API key into a chat. Use a placeholder such as
$AG_DIGEST_API_KEYand keep the real value where only your code can read it. See the API reference.
