[Nongsuchuksan News = Reporter Kim Jin-oh] Hansalim Gyeonggi East Consumer Cooperative (Chairperson Kim Mun-gyeong) prepared Hansalim rice using 500,000 won in donations raised jointly by members and employees in observance of World Food Day, and delivered it to the Sarang Nanum Icheon Food Market (Center Director Choi Seong-gyu) on the 27th. The donated rice is scheduled to be used to support food-vulnerable groups within the Icheon region. This campaign was organized to put into practice within the local community the spirit of World Food Day, which urges interest in and action regarding global hunger and nutritional imbalance. It holds added significance in that it connected the members' daily use of products with sharing for local neighbors.
