The Central Foot-and-Mouth Disease Incident Response Headquarters (headed by Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Song Mi-ryeong) announced that it is strengthening disease control measures after foot-and-mouth disease was confirmed during a surveillance inspection on Saturday, October 3, at a cattle farm (raising 98 head) located in Yecheon, North Gyeongsang Province.
