The National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (NAS) under the Rural Development Administration (RDA, Director Lee Seung-don) is joining hands with the Korea Water Resources Corporation to expand on-site application of agricultural non-point source pollution reduction and low-carbon agriculture technologies. The NAS announced that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding on Improvement of Agricultural and Rural Water Environment and Expansion of Low-Carbon Agriculture" with the Water Resources Environmental Division of the Korea Water Resources Corporation on the 16th. This agreement was established to promote on-site application and dissemination of agricultural and rural water environment improvement technologies by linking the NAS's research and technology development capabilities in agricultural environment with the Korea Water Resources Corporation's execution capabilities for projects in upstream dam areas. The two organizations will collaborate on △reduction of agricultural non-point source pollution and nutrient management, enhancement of soil health △water quality management in rural water supply
