(Korea Agricultural News = Reporter Yeon Seung-woo) The Korea Agricultural, Food and Rural Education & Information Service (President Yoon Dong-jin) has embarked on an urban agriculture-based ESG initiative where employees directly plant and grow crops to share with vulnerable local communities. The Service announced that on the 8th, it established a vegetable garden in the Living Garden of the National Sejong Arboretum and launched an employee-participatory ESG program. On that day, President Yoon Dong-jin and approximately 40 employees received training on cultivating autumn crops from urban agriculture managers before planting seedlings of cabbage, radish, scallions, and carrots. The employees completed planting seedlings in 10 garden beds over the course of about an hour. Participating employees divided into teams and visited the garden once a week to water
